January 15 is Suffolk County Dental Society Day.   Proclamation 15-2004 signed by our County Executive back in 2004, established January 15, 2005 and each January 15th there after as Suffolk County Dental Society Day.  This proclamation recognizes SCDS for its efforts on behalf of Dentistry, Member Dentists, and the public.
